Review: Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipsticks
8:00 AMI have been veering off the MAC lipsticks a bit, and checking out the Anastasia Beverly Hills line. The main reason that they do last longer, and don't require constant re-applications.
I end up buying four colors from this line, and I don't plan on picking up more. My two favorite colors for every day use are "Trust Issue" and "Veronica" from that line. Even though Veronica is a very pretty neutral color for every day wear, I really do have a hate/love relationship with that color, so please read the full review below on it.
Anastasia Beverly Hills
This ultra-saturated liquid formula delivers an intense shot of matte pigment in one easy swipe. A single application gives you smear-resistant coverage that stays put for hours.

This shade is a pretty "dark" wine-purplish shade from their fall line collection. On lighter skin, this color would be intense, but for darker skin, this color can be use as an every day wear for the office.

This color is super pretty on me, and I highly recommend "Trust Issue" if you have my skin complexion. By the way, if you are looking for a fall/winter color, then this color would be perfect for you. This color and Veronica are the two most popular colors from the ABH line.

This shade has a pretty pink undertones color, and I think this color looks neutral on any skin color.

I really like this color, and if you don't plan on drinking or eating, you can work with this color. As far as I'm concern, this color fades just awful on my lips. I don't know if this formula is different from the others, or if the color itself doesn't work well with my natural lip color.
All I know is this, this color leaves a goopy mess on my lips as it fades. The color residue that it leaves behinds looks plain gross to me. After a couple drinks, and eating, this needs to be taken off and be reapplied which I hate.
The negative of this particular formula/shade far out weight the benefit of the pretty color on me. I will have to say that I don't recommend this color for darker shaded lips.

This shade is described as “royal purple.” I consider it a rich purple color with pink undertone that finish off matte.

I think Vintage looks really good on darker skins, and I consider this my second favorite color to wear from this line. The picture of me wearing this color doesn’t give it justice really. It's a super pretty color, and I highly recommend this and Trust Issue for darker skin ladies.

This shade is a nice plum color with a pink undertone. This color is described as a sparkly plum, but there is nothing sparkly about it. It is a very matted color.

I had a shimmer plum color from Revlon before and end up giving that to my mom, I later decided to replace it with this color, which I like better because it is matte.
Conclusion: If you don't like the dry patchy look, add a coat of clear lip gloss on these liquid lipsticks and that will help give it a more shimmery look. Of course it will not last as long, but it wearing for many that way. Please note that you MUST prep your lips in order to avoid the crack lips.

I absolutely love the detail you go into when you review these things. I've always thought these were a little pricey for their quality! Nice to see someone giving a honest review of things.

I have to say there are beautiful colors on you, however thanks for letting us know their dryness, which can be an issue for me.

The purple is my favorite on you but they are all amazing shades! I hate that they are drying but you can always pair them with something moisturizing to combat that. Thanks for sharing girl!
