What I Wore: Spring Flowers
7:11 AMFloral to me is an acquired tasted, and I have really come to like certain floral pattern (as long as they don't look too old). In the very beginning of my fashion journey, I used to say I didn't like floral pattern that much. For some reason I always associated it with being old, but I think floral can also be very feminine and perfectly girly. Today outfit I think express what I mean by being both féminité and girly.
So since I do schedule my post now, you would have no doubt notice that I purchased two floral items when I visited Old Navy. One of the items was the dress that was worn here, and the second item is the skirt that is being featured below. I will be honest and admit I was very tempted to get this skirt in blue, but I decided to go with the pastel colors, because my dress was already blue and I'm glad I made that decision.
If you interested in this skirt, it is still available in Old Navy (check it out here) and the cardigan is still available at H&M (check it out here). I also have to mention the famous, must have, reversible Barcelona Cami from Express (check it out here). As always, thanks for the lovely compliment...xoxo Kreyola.

You look super cute in this floral look. I felt the same way about floral at first but I'm okay with certain prints now. I just add edgier pieces in to make it more "me" lol!

ReplyDeleteThinking about ya! Take Care Sis! :D
Kreyola: Hair question- I was noticing as I was vigorously shampooing my Sisterlocks to get the liquid chalk out of the small section of ends that I put the color in that it was stressful to my roots. I backed up off the tension some and it felt fine, but it made me think that if my locs were twice as long with permanent color which would absorb a lot of water that the weight of the locs would stress my roots as well. If you have not wrote a post on "shampooing longer Sisterlocks" will you? I maybe overthinking this but usually with loose hair most people do not worry about how hard to "scrub," I can see with Sisterlocks or locs in general- the wash process is more sensitive to manipulation.
ReplyDeleteI will work on it this week and try to release it soon :D.
DeleteBeautiful mix of soft tones, here. Darling skirt!
