What I Wore: Aztec Ties
8:11 AMHello everyone! I hope you had a great week, I know mines were super busy playing catch up since I was away form work for about two weeks. I'm glad things are starting to normalize both at the blog end and at work.
This outfit was worn yesterday for the very brief cool down we were experiencing. I have to be honest and say it was all about comfort this time around when I decided to cozy up with my Aztec cardigan, and hot cup of hot cocoa. As always, thanks for the lovely comments, I really do appreciate them ^_^. Since I have been reading about goals lately, I decided to share some of my ongoing goals. I decided to put them on the very bottom of my outfit post for anyone that is interested: D.
Two of my goals will not come to an end this year, but mid next year. Those two goals are creating an emergency funds, and to be COMPLETELY debt free ( I have since cut off all the rarely use cards, and cards that are not tracking via Mint for example Synchrony Bank formerly known as GE Capital ). Both goals has really taken a beaten out of me because I decided that I really do like fashion, but I'm limited to a very small budget for clothes (which is shared by me and my daughter) every month. Toss in that whole mix my love of traveling, and that alone will define my fashion toward budget quality clothes, and that ladies will always be my go-to for fashion.
So because of my limited budget, I decided to remix a lot of my clothes, and buy pieces that can be worn multiply ways. So this year I decided to do a list of items that I really want, and see if doing that will work out for the better. I already touch about a couple more goals on the "end of the year post, so if you are interested, you should check out that post. Note: Mint is the budget app that I use, and it helps me mange my finance by giving me options to track my debts, set up goals, and monthly budgets.

YES, Werk naturalista! I'm feeling that sweater too. Great add. I think I may need to introduce something similar to my wardrobe... EVENTUALLY. As I'm on a MAJOR BUDGET these days.

what a lovely look! My budget is also very limited when it comes to clothes because I'm determined not to spend much on it until I own the place I love in and settle all the other things I find to be more important (no matter how much I love clothes).
ReplyDeleteI found such limits to be very liberating....and sometimes it helps us to be more creative with our clothes by mixing it up as you say...
lovely combo...love the skinny jeans and boots together!
