Princess Caribbean Cruise
10:03 AM
I decided to split my trip to Grand Turk into two posts, one
is about my experience with Princess Cruise, and the other will be about
the island itself.
Leaving the Port
Our adventure start off from port Everglade, and below are the pictures from the view of the ship as we leave the port. My daughter excitement was truly priceless and I'm so happy that I took her along.
Princess Caribbean
I have been to a total of three cruise, two with Carnival, and one with Princess. Since I have been on Carnival twice, I wanted to try a different different company altogether. I booked with Princess Cruise, and I must admit the process with Carnival was much smoother.
I also have to note that with the Princess, I didn't have that great of a time on the boat itself. I thought Carnival had more entertainment spread out though out the days vs. Princess Cruise, which had entertainment mostly available during the evening/night hours. I also miss the cute towel animals.
Production Shows/Entertainment
Out of all the night I was there, the only production show that was fun and entertaining was “Do You Wanna Dance.” The rest were decent but not as good as Carnival, which I though had much better shows, if you happen to like Broadway type shows.
Below is what I wore for elegant night. If you haven't been on cruise before, I have to note that Princess Cruise wasn't clear enough about Elegant night (or maybe it is optional on their ship?). Carnival clearly state it elegant night in there flyers regarding their dining rooms. The only way I found out that it was elegant night on Princess by knowledge (usually it is the second night of the cruise), and the fact that they were advertising elegant portrait night.
Food & Drinks
The only thing I can say about the Princess "Caribbean" Cruise experience was that the food was excellent there! The only thing that would have made it perfect would be a little bit more of a variety in selection on the deck like Carnival.
A non-alcoholic drink are free on both cruises, but drinks on Princess REQUIRE you to actually go the dinning sections to get anything that is not tap water, while Carnival has a full Non-alcoholic drinking section on their deck.
Last Sunset
One thing I like about cruising is the sunrises and sunsets. I always enjoy viewing them, and that is the time I usually like to catch up on some reading that sometime hard to get to because of the fast pace of city life .

Glad you like this review, next time I will be doing Carnival (I wanted to do Disney, but the price is double all of the high price cruises).
DeleteWow girl, you deserves to be hired as a columnist for all those things you wrote! The blue stripe dress is beautiful, and I like how your daughter dressed in blue to match you! I would love to have an exact one for myself.
