What I Wore: Earth Tone Love
8:56 AMHello everyone, hope you had a great work week. I decide to switch my workout routine to early mornings, because late afternoon weren't cutting it due to homework (if you have a kid, you understand). It has been really hard, but I have been able to get up extra early, every morning, and get about a set of 30 - 40 min workout every 4 to 5 days.
Since I'm super tired today, and my scalp is tender from my retighten session yesterday, I decide to finally wear my big boho looking Fedora hat that I chose to paired with my mustard top and my chino pants. My black slip-on sneakers completed what I think is a super fun look.
Big THANKS for all the ladies and gentlemen that commented on my blog post on Monday. I will still answer any questions you may have, but I decided to spend my time supporting all of you guys vs. replying and saying thanks to each comments.

First - love the colors in this outfit. They pair really nicely together. Second- Oh yes. I know what you mean about kids & homework. :) It's not like on TV where they tell the kid "Go do your homework" and the child disappears for the rest of the episode. YOU are doing homework with your kid. At least if you want them to stay on task and understand what they're doing. Also, I work out early in the morning for pretty much the same reason. It took me about 6 weeks to get used to that schedule but if you stick it out, it will get easier!

i admire you! i don't have a child and i can't get myself out of bed early to work out. i will keep trying!! :) i'm going to Gainesville, FL this coming Wednesday. Any recommendations on mini road trips that I can do (preferably no more than 2-2.5 hours driving one way)? i am so excited :) i want to do a FL beach for sure and I think Daytona is the closest touristy beach. I'm not sure.
ReplyDeleteFrom my understanding, there is not a lot of nice beach around Gainesville, if you willing to drive, then check out Daytona or Clearwater (that is the nearest to Gainesville), but you won't be as excited as much since it is crowded and the water is not as clear etc.
DeleteIf you have additional time, check out St Augustine, FL, that happens to be the oldest city in Florida. It is about an hour and fifteen minute drive (if you follow the speed limit ^_-.). It also has the St. Augustine Beach, which will make you hit both of your goals at once. It is up to you but I would drive to St Augustine, FL and check out the beach there and hit the town as well :D.
Great casual outfit! I hear ya on the early morning workouts. I had to do the same thing....they are just to hard to squeeze in in the afternoon with the hubby and kiddo. Hang in there, your body will get used to it!
