While watching TV with my daughter, since she must have me watch TV with her, I happen to see young woman wearing sisterlocks. Her name is Giovonnie Lavette Samuels and she was Nia in "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody". I was so excited that I actually watch the program without any issue (meaning I wasn't on my phone etc.). Once I was done, I went and did a little research on her. Apparently she had her sisterlocks for years, but just recently cut them off (*sad panda*). Anyway I still consider her sisterlocks as a "sighting" and thought her sisterlocks were just lovely.

Giovonnie was born in Santa Ana on November 13, 1990, and was raised in San Diego, California. She is the oldest of three. Her love for the stage started at the tender age of 8 when she stared in her first major role in "Tide To The Tracks". Soon after that, she began appearing on "All That" during 2001, and quickly becoming one of the most regularly featured actresses on the show, alongside Jamie Lynn Spears and others. In her spare time, Giovonnie loves to teach acting to young inner city kids. She currently still active as an actress, but her most notable roles were Kirresha in "Bring It On: All or Nothing", Betty Jane in "That's So Raven", and Victoria in "Freedom Writers".
