My Custom & Homemade Loc Ties
8:04 AMI learned a couple weeks ago how to make my own hair ties for my Sisterlocks. Below are the sets I did for myself, which turned out beautifully. To learn how to make yours own hair tie click here for the video or visit my "how to" post for hair ties for natural & locked hair. I did a a couple of hair ties and I found I enjoy doing them a lot. I think this will be one of my gift ideas for my locks friends :). Let me know what you guys think.
Luscious Pink & Brown
Simple & Elegant Shell
I love how the green and the silver just blend with the shell.
Love the blue detail on the gogo as well as the leopard print on the bead
I love brown, can't you tell lol.
I love this one. I can see me wearing this all the time.
Tan Leather
This hair tie is nice and light. Love how it looks on my locks

Oh, I LOVE your hair ties! They are gorgeous! The earth tones can match just about anything. I think you could sell these. I think the ancient fossil brown is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThanks :)!!!! I love how these came out. In fact, I'm wearing the "Simple & Elegant Shell" now. I'm so happy I ran into your blog about your hair ties. As for selling them, not these sets, but I'm thinking of doing more cute hair ties but first I want to see if anyone would be interested in buying from me :).

ReplyDeleteThese sets are for me. I'm seeing how much of a demand for my creation are out there before I decide to invest in doing theses. You can try making your own with my how to post :).

DeleteHI Kreyola
ReplyDeleteI see that I'm behind on reading your blog. I wanted to know if you have decided to sell those hair accessories. They are very beautiful.
The above accessories I use all the time. I have a post on how to make your own. I didn't think anyone would be interested in purchasing from me, when they can make their own. If you would be interesting, then I can make some to sell.
DeleteVery nice ties! I was at a natural hair show and they were selling for $10. This could be a side business for you. Thank you for sharing how to make them.
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome!! I may in the future start selling these, but for now, enjoy knowing how to make your own :).
DeleteLovely. I think they are fantasic!

DeleteI love your blog and these hair ties. Where do you find/buy the pendants?
ReplyDeleteI found them in different places, some were found in Amazon, Esty, and Walmart. Walmart you find some pendants in the crafting area. Thanks for the compliment about my blog :D.
