Style Edition: Fun Spiky Updo
7:11 PM
This is day three of the "hairstyles" challenge. I have to say, this style was too tight for me in the back, which had me itching to let loose my hair. Unfortunately I should have browsed my pictures first, because I didn't get a good and clear picture of the back and my hair is already undone. I was NEVER a person to wear tight hair style because it would give meheadaches.
Anyhow, this style was done with four mini twists to the side and a basket weave pattern in the middle (I'm so bum the pictures doesn't show that). I use a golden brown clip I found at family dollars for $2 to hold the twist & basket weave. That $2 hair accessory packet came with a black clip as well. I took the rest of my sisterlocks and put them in a high ponytail. Then I made my sisterlocks all spiky to hide it (you can view a peek of it at the first picture). Then I proceeded to pin some of my sisterlocks I left out in the front to my side.

I do know what you mean about the tight styling. I can't stand it, either. Anyways, your hair looks very chic. I'm diggin' that high pony tail!
ReplyDeleteThe high ponytail I will do again. I love how that turned out. The back is a maybe, if I can make it a little looser I may wear it again.
