Thinning Lock Update - Recovery?
11:27 AMSo if you guys been following me, you know I talk about the fact that my hair was thinning out, causing my locks to thin out as well. Like I explain in my previous post, the last time I experience hair thinning was after I had my daughter (which result in complete hair lost). Well I glad to say that my hair is growing back.
I decided to also see a Dermatologist to talk about my hair thinning. I wanted to learn and do thing to avoid it in the future, because frankly, I don't want to battle hair thinning in the future. If I don't stop this now, I will always have short locks in that particular area. I know stress will always be in my life and that is a fact. So I decided to do a post and have updated picture of that particular area. It’s encouraging that I can combat this issue and succeed =).

How long did it take your hair to fully recover from the thinning?
ReplyDeleteIt took about two month for my hair to stop thinning, and 1 month to start seeing growth. Now they are slowing growing back in.
ReplyDeletemy locks are thinning just like yours what did the dermatologist tell you i have been told they were just to thin to start with by many and also i have also been told to just cut off my locs i have had them for about 9 years and they are mid back and have been cut shorter at least twice
ReplyDeletei would appreciate any information
The dermatologist told me I have Alopecia. What triggers mines seem to be stress, and I'm battling with my thinning sisterlocks every day. You can check out my previous post about what I do to help reduce or prevent my thinning locks. The amounts of locks I have helped disguise my thinning sisterlocks for a while now, and I think having the amount of sisterlocks was a good decision for me. See if any of my older post can be of any help to you, especially if you don’t want to cut your sisterlocks.
