My Dermatologist Visit.

The visit went well. I told my doctor why I was there and explain my history with hair thinning and hair lost. He told me from the look of it that it doesn’t seem that I have any type of Alopecia (my scalp looked healthy). I ask him many question and the one that was most important was how long will this last? Is this something I will have to deal with for the rest of my life? He said, since I have experience this issue in the past, that I may indeed have a repeat of this issue in the future. He said the regrow process varies for many people but it will happen, he just can’t say when. I was bum at this news. He also did some blood works and will give me the result in 2 weeks. He wanted to check for any thyroid problems etc.
He prescribed Rogaine for Men 5%
Next visit will be in two month. Hopefully by then I will have some good news.

Well, they say patience is a virtue. You need lots of it while waiting for the result. I hope Rogaine would work effectively for you.
ReplyDeleteI decided not to use Rogaine after this post was done. I went the natural route which worked for me.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you sport your locks. How long has it been since you had them? I must say, they look so fly on you. My dad is currently using Rogaine, and I haven't checked on him yet. What's this natural route you're using?
ReplyDeleteThanks Tobi!!!! I really appeceriate the comment. The natural route was an herbal remedy for regrowing hair. All I do is mix castor oil with rosemary and sage. I have the recipe on my blog. I take Biotin & Woman Vitamins daily. I also try to drink as much water as I can. So far that has helped stop the thinning and my hair is slowly growing back. I just didn't want to depend on Rogaine all my life, since it an expensive product.
